Western Union has recently teamed up with Banco Ahorra Famsa to make it possible to transfer money to more than 280 agent locations beginning in November, expanding the options available for families sending money to Mexico.
Banco Ahorro Famsa will also offer Vigo® and Orlandi ValutaSM services.
“It is a great honor for GRUPO FAMSA to work with Western Union. Our company will now offer Western Union® money transfers – providing consumers, who send money to Mexico, with a new practical payout option that brings families closer,” said Enrique Canseco, commercial director, Banco Ahorro Famsa.
GRUPO FAMSA’s financial services include money, mortgage loans, credit cards and investments.
This relationship will provide even greater accessibility for our customers in Mexico, where Western Union also works with Grupo Electra to provide more than 2,000 points of sale, connecting consumers to more than 510,000 locations across 200 countries and territories through Western Union Company’s Western Union, Orlandi Valuta- and Vigo-branded services.
